OUR HISTORY

Glad Tidings Assembly was founded by Pastor Sullivan and Jacqueline McGraw in June 1994. They continued as pastors until December 1996. In January 1997, Pastor Sullivan McGraw and the church family of Glad Tidings Assembly merged with New Life Assembly.

OUR MISSION

We are a cross-cultural, sensitive church that exists “to impact the world with the demonstrative love of God (open-hand ministry--Psalm 104:2b), transforming individuals into dynamic, productive disciples of Christ.”

This is accomplished through our philosophy of ministry which focuses on the proclamation of the glad tidings of the kingdom (Luke 8:1) and emphasized through—

OUR VISION

To build a large, multi-purpose complex that will house our “life center” for development and training. It will contain a gymnasium, classrooms, and workshops. We will offer a daycare, Christian school, GED classes, computer learning training, medical clinic, food distribution center, and skill development workshops.

OUR AFFILIATION

We appreciate our status as a cooperative fellowship with the Assemblies of God, although we are sovereign. This cooperative fellowship allows us to maintain proper accountability and integrity while offering ministries that are open to everyone.

OUR STATEMENT OF FAITH

We accept the Holy scriptures as the divine inspiration of God, revealing His will and providing us a rule of faith and practice.

For the purpose of maintaining general unity within the Assemblies, we have adopted the 16 Statements of Fundamental Truths of the General Council of the Assemblies of God.
