Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is the greatest challenge for our “Fulfilling the Dream?”
100% participation. Together everyone achieves more (TEAM). Every great victory is accomplished by the whole, not the part. Our greatest challenge is for everyone to do their part.

2. Is the Campaign just about raising money?
No. Whenever a church, a company, or a family embark upon such a journey, the goal of money becomes secondary to who you become in the process.

3. How will the goal of 2.8 million dollars be reached?
• First, we hope that we will see an increase in the giving of tithes/offerings among those not giving to date.
• Second, we are believing that the current faithful supporters will make a significant sacrificial pledge for the next 3 years.
• Thirdly, we are hoping that family and friends of our church will also make significant sacrificial gifts.

4. What is expected of me personally?
• To be informed- We want everyone to know what’s going on and why we’re doing it.
• To be involved- In order for our campaign to be successful, we need everyone who considers this to be their church to be committed to the realization of our dream. The informational meetings, prayer meetings, the fasting, celebration events, as well as Commitment and First Fruit Sunday should not be missed.
• To be in prayer- “It’s not by power nor by might but by my Spirit says the Lord of Host”. God does so much more through our prayers of faith than through our personal efforts. One of our prayers should be for us to ask God “What do you want me to give over the next 3 years?”

5. Why have we contracted an outside agency to assist us with our campaign?
A project of this magnitude should be guided by those with wisdom and successful experience. After thorough investigation and evaluation, we contracted INJOY Stewardship services to walk us through the process. We believe INOY mirrors our philosophy of excellence and heart for ministry, thus we are very excited about partnering with them.

6. How will our Capital Campaign be accomplished?
We will be asking each household in our church and our friends to make a 3-year commitment beyond their current level of giving. We are expecting large, sacrificial pledges from each of us to reach our goal of 2.8 million dollars

7. When can I make my commitment?
Complete the pledge card and begin immediately by placing an offering.

8. May we give additional non-cash gifts?

You certainly may! If you want to give non-cash gifts such as stocks, bonds, and/or mutual funds, please contact Charles Blacktree and Monique Bartolomey at the church office and we can discuss your options. But please, no clothing or furniture to sell. Sell them yourself first, and then donate the proceeds.
