Our Mission

Our purpose is to reunite people to God and His family while showing them how to relate to God by celebrating His name, as we raise them up as disciples releasing them to serve in the church and to rescue those who have lost their way.

Our Vision

-Isaiah 58:1-2
To develop a community of faith for successful living in Christ by rebuilding families, raising up spiritual leaders, and repairing broken relationships with will ultimately produce a restoration of a unified community! We will accomplish this by the preaching, and teaching of the Word of God, through community outreaches, big events, and ultimately by building a “ Training Center,” that will prepare, develop, and equip people in sacred ministry to extend the Kingdom of God!

Michael McGraw
Pastor, New Life South

Pastor Michael McGraw

Michael Edward McGraw was born to Sullivan and Jacqueline McGraw. The things that shaped most of his childhood were church, sports, and growing up in a military home. After receiving the Lord at the age of 16, Michael became devoted to the study of the Word of God and being a witness for Jesus. While in high school, he brought his Bible to school and witnessed to students about the Lord Jesus Christ and His second coming.

After high school, Michael desired to be an architect, he enrolled and received a diploma as a draftsman at the Maryland Drafting Institute. After graduating, he worked in the drafting field for two and a half years until the Lord called him into full time ministry in the fall of 1994. After receiving the call of God in the fall of 1995, Michael enrolled in North Central University in Minneapolis, Minnesota where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in “Biblical Studies.”

Upon graduation, Michael returned to the D.C. area and came on staff as the “Associate Pastor” at New Life Assembly in Capitol Heights, Maryland. He served there for three and a half years under the tutelage of the Apostle Sullivan McGraw and First Lady Jacqueline McGraw. In September 2003, by the leading of the Holy Spirit and a prophetic confirmation, Apostle Sullivan McGraw sent Michael out as the “First Seed” of many to come. Michael went out with 15 adults with a vision to extend the Kingdom of God in all of Southern Maryland.
