Pastor Sullivan McGraw was born in Cleveland, Ohio. A retired U.S. Air Force Captain, he has been married to Jacqueline since November 1966. They have 4 children (Michael, Brandon, Brittney & Bethany).
Pastor McGraw has attained a B.S. degree as Physician Associate; B.S.
degree in Occupational Education; and received his theological training from the Berean University of the Assemblies of God, based in Springfield, Missouri. He is a ordained Minister of the Gospel by the Assemblies of God, Presbyter for the Capitol Maryland Section of the Potomac District, and church planter. The fruit of his ministry has already spread with his first planted church, New Life South, in Waldorf, MD.
Called to full-time ministry in June 1986, he served as Associate Pastor at Evangel Assembly in Camp Springs, Maryland, under Reverend Jack Cain, for 7 years. He received a call to plant a church in Washington, DC in January 1994.
Glad Tidings Assembly began in his home and grew gloriously until they had to rent a school in northeast Washington, DC.
